The history, anthropology and archaeology of Sulawesi, Indonesia

The OXIS Group is an informal confederation of historians, archaeologists, anthropologists, geographers and linguists working on the origins and development of indigenous societies on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.

The aim of the website is to report on projects by members of the OXIS Group and to make available resources and cutting-edge research ranging from the palaeolithic to the present day.
